QuickTel continues to invest in its new Research & Development department (R&D). The newly founded R&D Department, founded in 1999, is specializes in electronics design & development, also offering consulting services to the regional electronics industry. The department employs leading scientists and research engineers and is fully equipped with a Computer Aided Design facility and a Prototyping Laboratory capable of producing Express Prototypes for sampling and testing.

With an extensive background in Electronic Circuit Design, Microprocessor System Design, Embedded System Design and general Computer Technology Design, including strong capabilities in enhanced production efficiency standards, QuickTel’s R&D department is an industry leader within the region.

QuickTel’s teams of highly qualified R&D professionals consists of a group of custom design specialists capable of improving on and enhancing many reputable products such Corded as well as Cordless Telephone sets, along with the design and management of software for various Telecom industry equipment.

The R&D department is also involved in the design and roll out of large scale software applications for Windows and Linux platforms along with the design and analysis of highly sophisticated Telecom protocol.

Other unique specialty designs groups within R&D are involved in the design and (and redesign) of FPGA and obsolete FPGA telecom boards. Ongoing efforts of the department include producing innovative designs of facilities for the local and export markets, given its extensive experience in the design and implementation of Telecom Equipment with Arabic language supported services.
